MEANING OF PSYCHOLOGY AND THEIR TYPES

              Psychology is a word which derived from two greek word which are psyche and logos. Psyche means (soul, mind) and logos(study). By definition is that psychology is scientific study of behavior and mental processes or
        Psychology is a science of behavior and mental processes. Psychology deals with the responses to any and every kind of situation that life present by responses or behavior is meant all form of processes, adjustments, activities and experience of organism.
       Scientific study is refer to observation, experimental investigation to collect information and organizing this information.
      Behavior refer to all action that can be observed such as physical activity and speaking.
      Mental process meant to private, cognitive processes that cannot be observed directly such as thinking, feeling and remembering.
 BACKGROUND
     Psychology it emerged about a period of 500 to 300 B c and formed by great philosopher known as Plato and Aristotle who were started to ask about human behavior.
     And in early modern era in 1879,Wilhelm Wundt (1832-1900) known as father of psychology, founded a laboratory for the study of psychology at Leipzigy University in  Germany.
THERE ARE SEVERAL TYPES CONCERNING PYSCHOLOGY WHICH ARE              
i) Cognitive psychology-Is the branch of psychology that study mental process including how people think perceive ,remember and learn. 
ii) Evolution psychology-Is a theoretical approach to psychology that attempts to explain certain mental and psychological behavior such as language as evolved adaptation
 iii) Social psychology-Is a scientific study of how people’s thoughts, feeling and behavior are influenced by the actual, imagined or implied presence of other.
iv) Education psychology- It concern with the use of psychology to increase the effectiveness of the learning experience, including facilities, curriculum, teaching technique and student problem.
 V) Clinical psychology-Is the branch psychology concerning with assessment and treatment of mental illness, abnormal behavior and psychiatric problem. It is more likely to treat or conduct research into the cause of abnormal behavior.

CONCLUTION
Psychology is mental process relate to behavior that when mental process change also behavior change, by meaning of that it is study of mind. Psychology it was started by ask about human behavior by great philosopher who are Socrates, Plato and Aristleto in early period of 500 to 300 B C  that mean psychology is a scientific study of mental process and behavior .
